So I bought a couple MP40w's around the time of fall fest.  I got them from reefgeek and got a great deal.  However, one stopped working a while back and I have emailed tech support and recieved no response.  Pleased help, it is incredibly frustrating to spend that much money and have poor customer service.  When I turn the pump on it flashes red/green.  The video says something has the propeller stuck and showed me how to clean it.  I did this, even though it was spotless, and it was to no avail, still didn't fix it.  I know that the problem is in the powerhead/propeller because if I switch to my other controller it still does the same thing.  Any ideas?
    Thanks,

No response from tech support?! Wow...that *really* surprises me. I have the e-mail address of one of the support guys and I'll e-mail him on your behalf. They are awesome so I have to think that your e-mail got lost somewhere. I'll send the e-mail shortly and CC you.

The red/green is a problem that I had a while back and it was related to a bad bearing in the pump. Sounds like you have multiple MP40Ws. The first thing that I would do is to try the working wet-side with the non-working dry side and see if you get the same results. If it works, then the problem may be with the wet side. Try the non-working wet side with the working dry side and see if it works. If not, then the issue is your wet side. If it does, then you have an inconsistent issue and I would leave it as is and regularly turn them off/on for a few days (not leave them off, just turn them off so they are without power for a sec and they have to restart on their own). You may also want to verify that your spacers are set to the correct glass thickness. In any case, it sounds like your pumps are still under warranty and they will take care of you.

I believe the issue is in the dry side. The waysides will both spin on the good dry side and if I leave it unplugged for a while ten plug it in it will spin for a while then it stops and flashes red green

I havent had any luck with their customer service either. A little disappointed after hearing all these good stories about their service.

Will the dry side spin up without the wtside on? That will tell you pretty quick if the issue is on dry or wet.

Also, are you talking reefgeek tech support or EcoTech's? I too have heard nothing but good things about EcoTech.
