    MAJOR UPDATE!!!!! got the tank moved downstairs! What a pain in the a$$. If i ever deside to move or sell it its moving one of two ways.... hammer and garbage cans or someone else is moving it.... lol hahaha

    Not yet... i have 100lbs of arogite sandi need to rinse good at my bros house. Then add what rock i have and fill with saltwater. I am gonna atleast get it going and then i will do the plumbing and sump at a later date.....

    Are you putting the sump under/in the stand. Is so, just an FYI you can very safely remove that front center brace and have a lot easier access under the stand. Looks like it might be a little tight getting equipment in and out.

    I have my 250 (5ft span) using a 2x6 on edge, with 2x6 legs and no center brace.

    I just notice that in all the pictures it looks like your tank overhangs on the stand. Please fix this or you will have a big problem on your hands if it is. The bottom rim of a tank needs support on all four sides. If not then you risk the dreaded popped seals.

    Hope I am wrong about your stand. Other wise it look great and I could skin that nice for you when your ready.

    the glass is all toching.it has thick trimmed thick. So just the trim hangs over. Then the skin sits flush. He had it setup for 5 years like that. Ill take more pics when i get home.

    i'm in the middle of doing a simalar build on a 135. I went with the Rapid LED 125 gallon kit i havent built them yet but look for some future posts on them.

    The tongue and groove boards will slide up so the tank trim and stand trim is smooth

    finally got the tank I'm gonna use foot my sump. 20 long. theres a pic toward the top. it has 3 holes drilled an inch from the top. shouldn't be a problem.
