Unbelievable. I glued a frag plug near his hole and he got pissed and started pecking at it. Apparently the glue was not dry and he pecked at it and now he is swimming around with his mouth glued shut.

Hopefully he can get it rubbed off or I am going to have to do some cosmetic surgery later.

I always worried about that. Good luck catching him. And JB, I don't think that's hilarious at all.

I do. It will come off on it's own. Just like it does when it's on your fingers.

It can't be that bad or he wouldn't even be able to get enough water over his gills. If it was truly 100% sealed I would think the fish would be totally freaking out and probably wouldn't last very long. It's more likely that there is some on his mouth but it's not causing any real problems. It's hard enough to get super glue to stick to a wet surface as it is. I can't image that it has a very solid hold.

Update: The Blenny managed to rid himself of the superglue and he is fine. However, he is still extremely pissed about the frag near his hole. If he isn't careful I am going to plug his hole and make him homeless.

Glad to hear that. Since it has turned out just fine, I'll stop being a curmudgeon about it.
