    Thanks. I was bare bottom for about a year. And my tank never looked right without sand.
    I liked that I could really crank up the flow and ease of cleaning but just didn't look natural. Maybe with starboard it would look good but I had to go back to sand.
    I went with a little larger grain size and mixed a few handfuls of crushed coral in a couple really high flow areas.

    My daughter wants me to get a Diamond Goby but my rocks are on top of the sand so it kind of scares me. The are really cool though!

    Yeah. They like to dig all the way under. I had one a few years ago and went missing. I think rocks caved in on him.
    Now my rocks are on glass. He is fun to watch. He is always busy
