Ok, this is the new 125 acrylic build I have been on and off working on for months now......long pause.....

As money avails itself it get poured into this project. It took me a long time to get the tank sanded and sanded and repolished about a hundred times. I kind of feel like popeye my arms are so tired from polishing. wax on wax off daniel son is what it felt like. I think it looks pretty good. Not so good in the pic i am posting because of water stains from the last rinse. I have the plumbing pretty much worked out just glueing it all up and making water this weekend. Hopefully if it all goes right I will do a pump test by saturday night and then start filling this baby up. Lights are another story still want the vegas but that may not happen due to they cost 500 a piece. Well i will give more detail later but her are the pics let me know what you think good or bad . I always love comments it helps me figuire out what I need to fix. Oh one question for anyone its 125 gallons with a 22.5 gallon sump what wattage should the heater be?

These pics show what the tank and stand looked like before i started to work on them /Portals/0/activeforums_Attach/IMG_0793.jpg

I bought it from another Eric < Actuary really nice guy has a huge tank thats really cool looking nice setup .
The size is 48x22.5x29 that comes out to about 135 but then its half inch acrylic so it drops it to about 128 i think. the sump is about 22.5 gallons.

Ok , got the tank almost filled with water , this has taken 3 days of running ro/di water off. Live Sand is in the tank and its cloudy as all get out. Another 20 gallons and I should be able to start up the return pump and start filtering the tank water . I want to ge this bad boy going for frag fest but I am starting to think even with the live sand it may not be ready in time. Titanium 500 watt heater should be delivered today.

I got a finnex titanium 500 watt. I have used the smaller one in my other tank for two years and have had no problems. I like the brand.

I got it at premium aquatics. It was just the heater, pretty cheap . Gonna use my ac3 temp monitor to control it. No other temp controls other than the ac3.

Want to thank kpotter2 aka kyle for coming over on sunday to try and help me get my aquanotes/apex app for my iphone to work. I have an AC3 and it wont connect outside the home wifi. I bought a dns subscription but cant figuire out how to get it to work on my cell. We have port forwarding setup we think ,but still no joy.

The tank is starting to clear up and i should be transferring my clowns and corals in a day or so.
