I plan on going and combining it with a visit with family.

 

I went and so did my daughter Geena and her boyfriend Jake. They came down from Sioux City and we met there. We had a nice time, won a few small items in the raffle and bought a few things. We took time out to watch the last half of the Iowa, IA State game and have buffalo wings and a beer at a restaurant. I was happy to have worn the right shirt for the day! It really is a nice store, definitely worth stopping in at if you are in Omaha. We might want to consider making it our monthly meeting next year.

 

Sounds like you had a good day. I didn't make it over after all. I think you are one of the luckiest raffle people - seems like you always win something!

Did you get any fish or corals??

 

They had a really nice selection of corals and fish. Had a Magma Wrasse for $199 and then you would take 30% off of that price. Ocellaris for $6 I think so some good buys. I bought a small teal blue centered Goniopora and wait for it........ a very fancy guppy! I have a 5 gal Marineland tank that I have a few freshwater fish in and an African Clawed frog. I bought some other small things like a new thermometer for one of my tanks. I really did not win anything big, exciting stuff like a bottle of Prime and and an algae scrubber sponge. That is ok though, I am happy with what I got and it was a nice day in Omaha with family.
