OK, I just bought a 180 and stand from from Bud McFadden (who was awesome, BTW). Now I need a 120gph return pump to circulate water through the thing. Mag 12 is what Bud used. Anyone got one or something similar they're looking to unload? I've got some stuff to trade or will pay some cash.

I have a mag 18 I could probably part with. Its a little bigger than you were looking for, but you can always T- off and return the excess flow to the sump, or use it to power a reactor or something. I prefer dealing with a little extra flow, then making too little flow try and work. $80.

What is the distance from the sump to your return points going to be? That determines how big of a return pump you need. I am running a reeflo dart that if I could actually measure the output at my returns I'd be cranking close to 3000 GPH if not a tad more. My distance from the return side of the sump to the tank of my tank where the return spouts is 18 foot total with vertical and horizontal runs. Most people say that only vertical counts for head pressure but horizontal can affect it a little but and them 90 degree elbows really knock things down too. Might want to double, maybe even triple check, what exactly your plumbing plans are before you go buying a pump.
