2" would be drain line I would think, return would most likely be 3/4" or 1" on that size tank.

I"ve got a bit and could do it for you but I'm no where near you.... FYI the bottom on a 75 is most likely tempered and cannot be drilled. What ever your drilling just make sure it's not tempered or it will shatter when you try.

Ok thanks for the advice , it is a RR75 drilled through the bottom but the pump I have has a 2" inlet so I need it drilled through the side . Anybody any closer that could do this I would pay some cash or trade a frag or two .

While 2" would be ideal, its not necessary. I ran a 1.5" bulkead and plumbing into my dart that also has a 2" inlet. Worked just fine. Just something to think about as not too many people have the bigger diamond drills.

If you can't find anyone with a bit that size you can get them from BRS for about 25 bucks. I would also say that you should be ok drilling the back but the bottom no.

Well unfortunatly my work schedule is pretty hectic at the moment, and I just wont have the time for a couple weeks to do it. I would however be willing to trade the bits. I have a bit for 1.5" bulkheads and one for 3/4"bulkheads. I believe I even still have the drilling templates that came with the kits. I found it very easy to drill mine, all you need is a drill, masking tape, a spray bottle, a little patience, and a light touch.
I would love to be able to help, and if you were willing to wait a few weeks I would. But I know how it feels to want to get something done lol. If you would like to trade Im really interested in starting to collect some high end zoas but am open to other ideas...I just like really vibrant colorfull stuff;-). If not I will just donate them to ya anyways.

P.s. I typed this out on my phone so I am sure there is lots of spelling mistakes lol.

Hey eric, anytime you want to come over is fine... tonight even works. And if you don't want to trade him for those bits, we will (you most definitely have first dibs though) and you can certainly borrow them from us, we certainly have plenty zoas we could trade off. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif
