Sorry guys...been in bed the past 3 days sick. My EB8 has power to it but an outlet isn't working. Checked to verify by using a lamp... Doesn't work when in auto or on . It also doesn't show up on my dashboard (the EB8)?! What do you suggest I do? Can I do a power restart or something like that? If yes, what do I do? What a time for being sick and having a an excruciating headache/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/crazy.gif

Thanks Nic. I still need someone's help as I have no clue what my temp is, etc. Can someone tell me how to do a reboot...just stop and then start the whole thing?

Are all the outlets not working, or just one of them? Did you check to make sure the USB cable did not get unplugged from anything? If it is not showing up on the dashboard I would say the "brain" doesn't know its there. If the USB is plugged in, maybe try connecting to one of the other USB ports on either the non-working EB8, or wherever its plugged into on the other end. Do you have a second cable that you could try?

The whole EB8 doesnt show up on your dashboard, or just the one outlet on the EB8 that isnt working?

Why cant you see your temp? That doesnt run through the EB8???

If you want to try restarting it, Im pretty sure you can just unplug it and then wait a bit and plug it back in.

Do you know what outlet isnt working? I believe the 8th outlet is a relay and if it's been used for anything that gets turned on/off frequently, the relay can wear out.

I think she has a secondary tank setup running off a PM1. I'm going to guess that the PM1 is tied to the EB8 that the Apex doesn't see right now. No EB8, No PM1, no temp.

Thanks Dave! It was just one of the outlets but then when I unplugged the USB cables, none worked. What I finally did was unplugged every cord from the wall outlets and all USB cables and the ethernet. It worked, thank God. But on my display, it is not showing my 135g info /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif There's always something with this stuff that the computer illiterates can't do/figure out. Of course that's me :0) Since I have the new firmware, I didn't know what to do so I punted! Thanks again Dave!

Thanks Lee. I don't know how to restart the things other than unplugging everything from the wall, the usb and ethernet cables. You would think they would have that in the manual but I've never been able to find it /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif

Craig, it wasn't showing the EB8 at all :9(

You are absolutely correct David!! It is my second tank (40B) and the second (Was the one:9(( ) and 4th EB8's added to the Apex.

I can't get the 40B temp and the 40B pH to show up on my display and on the dashboard...dang it! If someone might be able to tell me how, I would appreciate it :0) If not, I'll be contacting Apex in tomorrow...

    Thanks again ALL!!

I think your EB8 is probably dead. Get ahold of Neptune support & see if they can walk you through a check on it.
