   Anyone in the club familar eith replacing diodes in LEDs? I have a bunch of ecoxotic strips that have a individual bulbs burned out. I would like to take the entire lot and make a few functioning strips. If someone could show me the ropes in person i should be able to do the rest.

   It depends on the construction and the leds used. You should drop one by when you are in ic next and I can take a look. Sometimes these are replaceabke. Sometimes you will need to find a wiring diagram to figure out which lead goes where, but most of the time an led can be swapped.

   If you're wanting to switch a few around to make a couple working strips out of what you have it shouldn't be too hard. You'll need to most likely unsolder them from their board and resolder them in the board of the light you're building.

   These look like Surface Mounted Devices. A little tougher to replace. Meant to talk to you about this today. Should have had you bring them!

   I will take the front waterproofing clear cover off one and take some more pics. Thanks for the help everyone. I would have grabbed one to disect on fromt of you Bud!
