I'm in need of help in figuring out what to do for lights for the new BioCube 29G. I'm thinking maybe a combo fixture, MH+T5 or MH+T5+LED ? I wanna avoid something that has to be hung if I can, so something with feet that can sit on the tank. That pretty much narrows it down to something like this:

Am I going to cook my tank with that thing? It will be 150W HQI with 4 24W T5s and 2 LEDs...
Or I could go something like this:
    http://www.aquacave.com/finnex-24-l...-2550.html
It has to be hung, but it looks like it might be decent....
    I considered this:
    http://www.aquacave.com/deluxe-150w...-2181.html
But I really do not want to go without actinics, and I refuse to believe that those two little LEDs that far up will light up the tank worth a poop.
I cannot make up my dang mind!! Anyone have suggestions on other lights? Things they are currently using on similar sized tank? HELP! : )
    Then there is this:

Fits the tank, does not have to be hung. Drawbacks: the bulbs are hard to come by, constantly back ordered, no moonlighting...

I would go with the T5 LED combo. My 29 bio looks good with the stock pc lighting and I have two happy nems in it as well. I think that you would have heat and evaporation problems with a MH light. The T5s will give more than enough light and also save power and produce less heat. Shaun

If you want to keep the stock look and don't want to deal with the heat of a MH this would be a good option for you.
