So my new tank has 2 holes drilled for an overflow bur no boxes. Just bulkheads. do i just do two standpipes? For the return ill do 2 over the top unless someone thinks i can run one hole for overflow and one for return... let me know you think!

Oh I see, maybe I just got lucky, that was my first tank drill I was pretty damn nervous but it turned out all right. I'm no expert (not even close) but I did stay at a Holiday Inn express last night lol, but I would make one of those a back up like the durso overflow just in case the other gets clogged and run the returns over the top.

  10. drilling a 75 would be much easier than the 20L you tried before travis

You don't need a box really. I have drawn this up for you before. Come in a inch or so them add a stand off pipe. Cut groves in the end of stand off to make an over flow. I have done this a few time and its how hung at sea of marvels does his tanks.

For a 75 just one overflow and one return should work.

Yes that should do it. My marine land only had one of each as do most tanks under 90g.

One overflow is fine for amount of flow for that size tank. 2 is a nice safeguard against a flood. The holes are already there, I would use them both for drains and return over the top like you had planned.

Ok. Next, the bulk heads are threaded inside. Can i get a threaded piece that will make my 90* goin up? I have a feeling these stand pipes are gunna be ugly inside the tank... maybe i will need to paint the back black and paint the pipes black as well with krylon fusion
