Anyone have a PSK2500 or similar pump laying around? The one on my giant skimmer died on me last week so I'm not getting any air into the skimmer so the venturi isn't working.

I am not sure what the make / model of the skimmer but it is a bit bigger than the Bubble Master 200 and I am not so sure a PSK1000 would drive enough air into this beast or not. I was almost tempted to find something bigger than the PSK2500. I'll look into it though.

Sorry FishBrain I thought the PSK1000 would have a smaller output not a larger one. I changed my mind and want the PSK-1000 now that I see she's 880 GPH compared to the PSK-2500 being 660 GPH.

Well my PSK-2500 came back to life tonight but still plan to get the PSK-1000 before I start stocking my tank with corals again. Looks like the impeller on the PSK-2500 was jammed with some gunk out of the tank. Seriously need to get some filter socks lol

Yeah I would just grab a new one. Those 2500 are finiky anyway. My 1000 works great. Zero start up issues and pulls some serious air.

Its on the top of my rebuild list. First thing I need to do is rebuild the stand, rip up the hardwood floor, seal the stand to the concrete, and then seal the new hardwood floor around the stand so water can't get under it. I'm afraid one of these days my dogs, wife, or child is going to hit the current stand and it fall apart.
