New 300 gallon

    I just for my new 300 gallon all cleaned up and painted and getting ready to fill here soon.

    I'm probably going to make a tall shelf almost to the top on the left and leave the whole right open and get a few big fish and maybe some small schools

    This is a very good point. That's more than 2500lbs right there, and based off the picture it looks like it is somewhere in the middle of the house? Have you reinforced the floor supports in any way? I assume based off the hanging lights that you'll slide it closer to the wall.

    A very massive tank indeed! @ShawnD@ShawnD did do some massive supporting In the basement. To insure that it wouldn't go threw. And also advised to go very slow to allow for settling.

    I reinforced it with jack posts and 4x4s

    Got it all painted and cleaned up, almost done with the plumbing but just started filling it while I'm working on the last of the plumbing

    WOW. those are some crazy dimensions. You're going to have to jump in if you drop frags to the bottom of that.
