i've only gotten 2.  The first one is foggy from putting it all together.  I imagine i'll be the live rock in more of a design sooner or later and move the heater somewhere else.
The poor fish have had a rough life so far in this tank though.  I lost power at 5:30 AM this morning.  Around 9:30 to 10 AM the tank got wrapped in a blanket by my wife.  The temp got down to 74 but went up some when she plugged in the powerhead to a power converter.  My freshwater tank got down to 72 but the good news out of all this!!!!  NO FISH DIED!

With your skimmer, does it have an air pump to it, or does it just take in air from the water pump?

I had a coralife that didn't always take in aire from the water pump, so I hooked up an air pump to it and tweeked the air pump so it pumped just enough air to the skimmer pump.

Good start Cory, Keep the pics coming as you progress! Give the wife a pat on the back for wrapping the tank in a blanket [IMG].
