I got my new APEX last week.

So far I really like it. I hard wired it to the internet as most of the problems comes from intermittent wireless signal. It started up just like the instructions said.

    Pros

Built in ORP, PH, Salinity, temp probes.

I really like the ORP & Salinity, makes you see things you wouldn't of noticed before. My orp & PH was a little low, so I put a power head in the sump to agitate the water surface and it helped quite bit.

Outlets come preprogrammed. You can change them very easy, but they all have basic programming with it. You can use advanced programming if you know how.

    Cons

Only 1 EB832, so you only have 8 normal outlets. They extra EB832 are not available yet and are $$$$$. They say you can hook up your old EB8 to it, but I havent gotten that far.

I will follow up after I have had it running for a couple months.

Cool. Have you tried the WAV pumps or their utility pump yet? I think there is 3 ports on the brain for this so you don't have to purchase a module.
I would like to upgrade to the new style but can't justify the price of upgrading the classic version I have now. It works great. But I would still like to upgrade.
Supposedly it's easier to upgrade firmware on the new Apex. I would like that feature too.

I have not, I dont have those style of pumps.

Yes there are all kinds of other plugs on it for their pumps. That is where the cost savings comes in, not having to buy extra modules.

Also I do like the Fusion. I know that is not new. It lets me keep an eye on parameters no matter where I am. I am anxious to stream a video to it, then I will never get any work done.

I got mine a couple weeks ago, but i am still waiting on my tank to be delivered. Any idea how much the extra EB832's are going to cost?
