We started a new tank to expand our 55 gallon. We were lucky and found someone on craigslist that was selling 3 130 gallon tanks with overflows already drilled for 200 dollars. The cost of buying a stand for a tank this large was unreasonable for us especially since they arent really built "exactly" how we wanted ours. So the build begins.....
Let us know what you think and ill keep this thread updated as the build progresses /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

I'm looking to forward to the build! Good luck. Are you moving stuff from your old tank or starting fresh.

We are keeping everything from the other tanks just upgrading to a bigger tank. We got a really good deal on the tank so we decided it was time for a new build. We are rebuilding the sump and running 2 tanks off one sump the 55 gallon is going to be a frag tank.

Well here's the latest update.... We got the sump done yesterday its up and running quite well though with all the clean new water our protein skimmer is feeling a little lost. Now we are just waiting on the new LED's to get here to finish building the canopy and the stand. Though the stand is taller then most tank stands its proving to be very sturdy and not at all top heavy.

We also made some rock to supplement the rock we had in the 55g.

The rocks are still curing they have a couple more weeks before we can start slowly adding them to the tank to make sure we don't force the tank to cycle.
