Just got this fired up yesterday.  Sorry, no step by step pics, but wanted to share the final result.
Here is a head on shot (obviously).  Sorry, my photo skills aren't that great.

Looks like some pretty good craftsmanship! Do you just have the one fan on there?

My two cents: You are going to need at least three more of those icecaps (one on the side, two on the back) to vent that hood.

Just the one fan. Think I need more? It doesn't feel too hot, but I'm not a halide expert. I have three holes cut in the back with the one fan on the end.

I would buy some PC fans off the internet before getting any more Ice Cap fans. They're nice, but they're really loud and put out about 1/2 as much as a $20 PC fan that is about 1/4 the sound level.

Looks like youve been using the Kreg Jig. Good work.

Is the added fan for cooler canopy air temp, or water temp? I'm noticing the water temp is 82. I'm going to watch it for a day or two. If it goes high, I'll definately get an added fan.

You'll be fine with another fan on the opposite end, I would put a piano hinge on that fold up part though over time that plywood might want to bow

Anyone have a good source for a stainless piano hinge? One of my barrel hinges broke already.

I think they sell piano hinge at Menards. I'm not sure if it's stainless or not...

    OK.  Stainless Hinge.  Check.

    Much more sturdy alternative.
