   I the only thing I don't like is that other's comments are still up there even though it was before I even logged on.  So does that mean that it'll always be up there through out it's existence?

   That's actually a setting. I have it set to keep the last 10 messages which is handy if you are in a busy chat and you accidentally close the window or decide to switch to the full screen mode. That way you don't miss any of the messages.
   
   I'm going to suggest to the authors that they put a time limit on it so that the old ones disappear if they are older than a few minutes...
