New Corals Help

    I just recieved my new frags (some mini-colonies) from San Fran and looking for input on placement. I have 2-Mp40's and 4 AI units, if you know where any of these would prefer to be rearding light and flow, please let me know. Thanks.

    Need help making room? I'd be glad to assist lol, but I have no idea what those guys would prefer for light / flow. Good Luck to ya! Plz post pics once you rearrange the tank.

    My 2 cents, isolate the war coral if possible. It tends to grow very quickly and is very aggressive.

    My experience with the war coral is completely different. Mine hasn't grown off the 1" tile I got it on. Other corals have shown remarkable growth in the same time period. It really does show that each of our reefs is a unique environment.

    Now that I think about it, I have owned both Tyree war coral which has a brighter red coloration to it, as well something called "war coral", which was more of a maroon color.
    The Tyree stuff grew very quickly while the plain darker stuff never grew and eventually just started dying of.
    I guess it not only depends on the environment but the type of war coral too.

    Mine's Tyree too, so there must be differences somewhere in our tanks.
