I just got a Foxface Lo from @xroads@xroads, thank you Craig, on Sunday. It turns out he is not the most aggressive one in the tank. He is roughly the same size as the rustic angel fish I have that likes to pick on him. He is hiding constantly. When I put food in there for everyone to eat he is just staying in his hiding spot not even eating when food floats by.

Can I put an algae clip of Nori down close to his hiding spot? I tried using the long pipets to get food close to him and nothing. I have some hair algae for him to eat but I am not sure he even noticed it.

Is the trick to just keep tying different foods? I don't want to lose this one to starvation.

    Thanx for the advice.

Put a large mirror on the out side of your tank for a week or two mate the angel will attack him self for a while and it will give the fox face a breathing space to gather his sense and claim his part of the tank. I have a yellow tang that is a total d@&$ and it works every time

I never saw any aggressive behavior from that angel fish before to any fish I ever introduced. But I will give it a try.

    Dont be too worried.

Rabbitfish can be very skittish for awhile, it may just take him a day or two to get used to new system. I find a variety of food usually does best for me instead of the same thing day after day.

If he does not come out from his hiding place I may try and put a veggie clip right next to the entrance to his hiddie hole with a algae sheet.

Not sure how well it will work on an herbivore like a rabbitfish but I've seen more picky carnivores enticed from live brine shrimp or fresh clam on a half shell.

He is still hiding out and I have not seen him eat anything yet. I hope the green hair algae I have is enough to keep him going until he is brave enough to come out and fend for himself. That is if he is even eating it.
Tried the mirror trick but it did nothing to entice any fish.

Keeping fingers crossed he will pull out of this funk.
