new goodies!

So far our tank has been doing wonderful! So we decided to get some new goodies. I picked up some t5 lighting and 2 peppermint shrimp friday from Adams aquatics. the lighting makes the tank so much more vibrant and its helped with our red slime. the slime is almost non existant now bar one dead spot. Saterday Matt hooked me up with a 55gal and threw in my first coral! Its a kenya tree. It was mostly for an experiment to see how well he would do in my tank. The kenya tree looks like its doing great! Hes open and waving and looks great. Thanks Matt! After meeting with Matt my girlfriend and I took a trip to pet's playhouse and we finally found the coral banded shrimp we'd been looking for! Hes pretty awesome, we named him homie since his front pincers make a sort of "whassup" gesture haha /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif Anyway we also picked up a couple snails so our tank should be sparklin clean now. we got rid of our apethesia and everything looks good! just thought I'd share the new developements /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

Vik- Yea that sounds awesome, we are in waterloo so that would be an easy pick up. Let me know when a good time for you is. I hope the cbs will be ok, he seems to be leaving them alone so far.
