    Hi Guys,
I bought a new 1000W heating element at the sale yesterday and plugged it in to my DC8.  The heater is working great except it is shocking my tank. (When I touch the water I get shocked)  Has anyone ran into this before and is there anything I can d o to remidy this on my own or will I have to return it?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We had that problem and we had to get a new heater too.

Wow that's a bummer. Was it new or used when you bought it?

It was new and the seller doesn't have any to replace it so I'm in a pickle.

I had a powerhead that was doing that. Time to get a refund.
