    Hey everyone,
So i've been reefing for about 7 years now with a 29gal for most of that time. This last summer, I finally upgraded to a 75gal RR setup with a 30gal sump. For lighting, i run 2x 250watt Reef Optix pendants with 2x 110watt VHO super actinics for supplemental lighting. For a protein skimmer, I'm way overskimming with a ASM G3 w/ Sedra 5000 needle wheel pump. Currently for flow, i'm running a Quietone 3000 return pump(new, higher gph version) along with a pair of koralia 1400's for circulation, plus 4-5 small pumps behind rocks to prevent detrius buildup. I'm hoping to purchase two MP40w's and sync them up and get more flow for my SPS.
The main focus of the tank is a mixed reef, but i'm slowly moving to more and more SPS and I'm starting to collect more "rare" BTA's. I thought I'd just introduce myself as I'm new to this site and I'm also starting up a 20Tall nano reef tank with a 10gal sump here in my apartment now.
You can follow my 75gal reef build here along with pictures of everything along with the most updated equiptment and stock light /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gifhttp://www.reefcentral.com/forums/s...?t=2055437

Thanks Trevor, I'm not sure of the exact names of most of the zoas I have in there. But some of the ones I know of are: Blue tubs, radioactive dragon eyes, whammin watermellons, and some nuclear green's. I love zoas, i'm hoping i'll be able to get some Bam bam's soon. Some with more cool colors.

    Welcome!

Nice set up there on the reef central forum. I always like to see how people set their tanks up.

Thanks guys! And yea, my friend was telling me about that. I think that's over spring break tho and I'll prob be home in chicago during then. My 20gal nano prob won't be ready for any corals by march unfortunately /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif

haha, i don't have much to look at right now. it's just an empty tank and stand and the sump. My order of locline and 3/4" bulkheads will be in tomorrow and I'll have to see when another local (Tholton33) can drill the 2 return holes and i'll install the bulkheads. Then it's to painting the bottom of the tank and the back of the tank. I'm doing a barebottom tank. It won't be for another week at least till i even start cycling the tank.

You should check out Tholton33's setup! Even tho he complains about it being loud, the thing is dead quiet and I like how he setup his tank. He's still cycling but almost done!

But i would love to swing by sometime and check out your setup. Where are you in ames? are u a student at ISU?
