New to nano sw, from omaha,ne

Hey all, Been off an on with freshwater tanks for awhile now. I
currently have a 55gal high tech planted tank which stemmed off a little
5 gal my girl got me - I like big tanks lol. She has a leopard gecko,
and is wanting a small tank to put it while she cleans the main tank, so i upgraded and got myself a 10 gal and
moved the contents of the 5 to my 55 gal. Then I pondered and
thought... hell i'll make a nano tank. It'll be different and once I
priced out what I needed it would all be under 400 for everything,
including what I want to put in it.  I would have gone bigger, but the location is on a bar counter top in my kitchen, basically the center of the apartment I live in. So weight is part of the build.
So... i am waiting for a
large brown box from UPS to gimme my goodies. All that is left is
10-15lbs of sand, 15lbs of rock (10 base and bout 5 live to seed), Maybe
a HOB skimmer...future purchase there, Salt - obviously, and livestock.
I
was just wondering if anyone is near Omaha,NE? Im not having much luck
in craigslist, and I rather not pay a pet shop an arm and leg for some
live rock which could give me more than I want, and mostly it all being
bad critters. Looking for about 5 lbs of LR, and I'd come over with a
cooler to keep it submerged. Id say an hour is about as far I'll go.
Then eventually frags if possible. Midwest really doesn't have many
options which I have found so far. Any tips would be more than welcome.

Oh excellent. I joined up here from Floyd in Des Moines. I have family all over Iowa - Some really close to you JB, my dad side parents live not far from Marion.
