No frogs yet. Still need to do a few final touches before they are added.

Still need to work on a internal air circulation system. I just ordered a few parts so that will be done next week hopefully.

Debating on adding an automated misting system. It's gonna set me back about $180 for the system I want. For now I "make it rain" with a spray bottle manually.

Need to find a container that is 10" x 10" and as tall as I can get it for a water reservoir. This will be for the ATO as well as feed the misting system.

Will probably order an Apex Jr. for it to control the lighting , water temp, and misting system.

Fun stuff! I already want to build another one but bigger. WaaaY BIGGER!

Thanks John! Yes the 330 was paid for but is still for sale. And I have thought about buying it but not sure I would ever want a penninsula style tank. Especially one that big!

I ended up just buying the gravel. HD had it for $2.50 and was way more than i needed. Thanks for looking out for me anyhow.

I used a concrete sealer called Dry-Lok mixed with some cememt coloring topped off with a touch of green acrylic Bob Ross style. Happy Happy

Man, that's so cool man! Do you know of any other websites that have info on vivariums? I want to set one up eventually with dart frogs myself! Definitely my second fave behind reef tanks!

There's a few good message boards to check out. Dendroboard.com is probably the biggest and most active followed by Vivariumforums.com.

Made a bunch of progress this week. Added a heater to the sump, installed my misting system which is REALLY cool! And then today I picked up a mossball for the pond along with 2 white cloud tetras and a little ghost shrimp.

I'll post a video fo the the misting system later. I ran it a little too much yesterday and need to wait for things to dry out a bit before I run it again.

  12. Wow, this is is freakin' sweet! I am excited to see this vid! Nice work.

This video sucks but gives you an idea of how the misters work.

I'm pretty hooked on this stuff at this point. I ended up getting a controller for it especially made for vivariums. This way I can set the mister to do its thing whenever the humidity drops below 90%. Of course it also controls the lighting and has a web interface and email/text alarms just the reef controllers out there.

    Sorry for the messy wiring.

Wanted to get them this weekend but due to my job situation the wife says we need to wait.

    Hopping for sometime in January.

  16. Nice, how many can you house in that size vivarium?

Depends on the species. I am getting (3) D. Azureus.

You can mix some species together.

Unfortunately not with the species I am going to be adding. They have been reffered to as the "Tangs" of the frog world.
