For Sale Nice reef aquarium In Adel Iowa

We bought a house with a at least 50 gallon reef aquarium. They left it. I have no idea how to run it. There are two clown fish now, and MANY MANY other coral, fire shrimp, crab, snails some little star fish looking things. I have pics, and a short video. We each work a lot, and just simply cannot do the water changes and research that is needed to care for these fish. I have an idea what it is worth from the local pet / reef store. Would be willing to take a lot less for someone that would care for them and come remove everything. In Adel, about 20 minutes from Des Moines area. I will be trying to load some pics or you can comment and do we exchange emails I can email pics.

 

I posted some pics, I must sell it as a whole since I do not know what the pieces are or anything like that. There was some instructions wrote down and in spite of that we still lost the blue tang. It was very upsetting and they installed this in the basement in the wall with the storeroom behind it and we simply don't even go in the basement to sit and relax enough to enjoy them. The clown fish are very healthy and quite animated they will follow your finger and know when you're going in the store room to feed them. All of the other life in there it's also very healthy the coral and whatever that stuff is is opening and closing and is very healthy. Fire shrimp appears occasionally to nibble on food. There's also a blue crab in there. You can see in the upper right corner is the magnet glass cleaner to clean the glass.

Yes at first it was very exciting and yet hard to figure out. We lost a blue tang week after we were there and it was very upsetting and I want to make sure that clown fish and the rest of the life in there are taken care of. Also it is in the basement where we don't sit and it would be hard to enjoy.

 

I loaded some pics. Asking half what the store told me, 500.00 need it all gone in one shot. Have a few of the big 5 gallon buckets and the water containers in pic will go with it for hauling the salt water or RO water.

I thought I could edit my original post, so I am not familiar with this type of forum. ASKING 350.00 for all! Everything. Which is lower than what someone on here said I should ask. Should be a great deal for someone. Everything is very healthy. The clown fish are very cute and happy but this is in the basement, and all we do is have to go down each day to feed them. There are buckets there and containers for RO and salt water, some charcoal, etc. Everything pertaining to the tank will go with it.

 

I hope so, if you know of anyone thinking of one, it might be a good way to get one.
