ok guys n gals as you all know I was doing this new sps tank thing and went on a rampage of buying a bunch of high end nice sps and housing in my lps/zoa tank.... cant keep the phosphate and/or nitrate low enuf for the sps but everything else loves it and is doing fine altho the sps has lost alot of color and not getting great polyp extension. its all still very much alive and not bleaching or anything like that, just some starting to turn brownis color and not getting the polyp extention it should.... NEEDS to go in healthy tank ASAP and it will be 1/4 of what I paid....
superman -- fully encrusted, this one still looks fine
reverse superman -- base color has dulled a bit and the blue polyps are only 50% open
    sunset monti
reverse sunset monti -- both look good and color is fine
pokerstar monti -- color still good fully encrusted
wild purple stag -- still very purple/blue  2" + frag
purple acro == still looks purple but not like when I got it -- 2" frag
Ice Tort which is still beautiful and my fav coral and tripled in size since I got.. a little browning at base but barely=== this could be fraged 2-3 times now
Mini colony of tri color nana multiple branches, still gets polyps out and tips are purple but rest lost color
mini colony of green digita?? Not digitata forgot exact name but poylps still come out but base browning
orange digi--- 3-4" with a few branches... looks normal
blue and green milli frags-- both still have good polyp ext but color fading
large purple grape cap 4-5" in diameter stilll looks very purple n not affected
green and red cop both about same size... again these arent affected
have a few others im going to throw in as well... just to clarify these are no way alomost dead or bleaching... I just dont want them to get worse and I know I could get it under control but needs a healthy tank now not in a week....
for whats listed above I paid over 350$ for and want 150$ if you can pick up today prefered... I need it to go to a heathy tank asap as Im selling so cheap to save the coral, not to make money but I cant take a bigger loss bcuz one of our sponsors will get me my asking price but thought Id give somebody option to get alot of coral for a very cheap price...
Have a big colony of ORA green bnest that still looks 100% normal and beautiful--- paid 50$ for it and like to get that back or just keep as its not affected
Im in DSM and would if local come look and I promise you will go home with it all... call me w/ ?'s at 515-771-2379 name is Justin
Again this is a rediculous deal as the ones I thro in are 25-30$ each so you will end up paying 7-8$ per coral... I just hope somebody local can come look and see what I mean as I cant take pics and I know thats what everybody will want....

Out of curiosity what are your phosphate and nitrate levels? My nitrates usually hover around 20-50 and all my SPS are doing just as well as my LPS. Ever thought about just cutting back on feeding or maybe spot feed? Also running some GFO should take care of your phosphate levels.

You should be able to have a successful community tank if you balance your feedings/bioload properly.

If you would be willing to part it out I would be interested in these 4 (I already have most of the others):

wild purple stag -- still very purple/blue 2" + frag
purple acro == still looks purple but not like when I got it -- 2" frag
Ice Tort which is still beautiful and my fav coral and tripled in size since I got.. a little browning at base but barely=== this could be fraged 2-3 times now
Mini colony of tri color nana multiple branches, still gets polyps out and tips are purple but rest lost color

Just let me know...and if so, how much.

    Thanks,

    Dave

pending sale.... should be here shortly to pick up... Waverz I think its alot to do with an over loaded tank, and phosphate... I have a phosban reactor and run chemipure elite. The sps was meant for my new tank but I pulled the trigger and bought all the sps too soon and housed it in my lps/zoa tank which was already pretty full. I could give a little tlc and prob make it last a few more weeks to tranfer into new tank but we are talking two 29g biocubes with open tops and sunpods over top. I think overstocking was my main issue and trying to stuff a bunch of sps in an already full tank... I get a bit carried away sumtimes and this time its costing me about $250 bucks but I think its going to a good home and much bigger tank with much stronger lighting...

I am over reacting a little but watching this beatiful coral start going down hill id rather jump on it now than wait untill its too late.

I have learned alot in this hobby the last few years and its all been the hard way.

Ah man NOOOO!!! Don't give up so easy bro!! Just get a reactor and some warner mairene ecobak bio pellits. And your po4 and no3 will be zero in no time. You wouldn't beleave the bio load in my tank and po4 is 0.00 on hanna checker and no3 is 0 on api. Eather way let me know when you get the new tank up and running and I'll hook you up again.
