hello after the lights go out on my reef i will hear a clicking sound and sounds like its coming from the rocks, i know this could be a mantis shrimp or i think a pistol shrimp but nothing is missing as far as other crabs and shrimp so would not think it would be a mantis any other idea's?
    Thanks

Most pistol shrimp aren't predatory. I've got a pistol shrimp in my 125 that I've never seen, I can hear the clicking every once and a while. My bet would be on a pistol shrimp that came with some rock.

I have a pistol that clicks all the time, I also think he may be a fish killer as everytime I put fish he is supposed to pair up with always eventually end up swimming around in a complete daze for a bit and then die shortly after.
