I know that my tank isn't very old about 60 months, but I am not getting
any grow on anything.  I check my parameters every week, and everything
    is in except able ranges.

    Ammonia- 0

    Nitrates-5

    Nitrites-0

    pH-8.2

    Calcium-around 420

    Alk-8-10

    Mag-1480

    PO4-0

Temp swing is less the a degree

and pH is pretty low, but haven't checked really.

Light cycle is 8 hr of MH

    I have a 29 biocube, with higher flow 2 K2 on a wavemaker, tunze 9002 skimmer, and a 150w sunpod w/ 20K XM

I have pretty good extention on all my polyps, just no growth

I am looking for what else could be going on with it.  I have been
thinking of changing the 20k to a 14k and see if that makes a
difference, but that won't be in til Fall Fest

Not sure what else could be causing an issue, just needing advice.

    Hey Troy,

I can only think of 2 things that might help your growth.

Lower K light like you mentioned. If you want the growth to really jump drop to 10K. Bad trade off is it might make your tank look yellowish. Some antinic supplementation would help that.

    Feed your fish/coral more.

    Good luck

I second what Craig has said, Feed your tank more and maybe step up some water changes.
I was having the same problem, changed my bulbs, started feeding more and did more water changes. It has made a world of difference.

    What do you recommend feeding?

    What do you recommend feeding?
    Three ways.
    1.  Have more fish and feed them more, just make sure you skimmer or water changes are up to the load.
    2.  If you have lps you can target feed them with a turkey baster.
    3.  Rotifers is incredibly easy & great coral food.

    Where do you get rotifers?

Can corals consume cyclopeze, or is it much too large?

Cycolpeze is awesome for basically all corals, everything will go crazy for it!
As for the rotifers, there's many places you can get them. The best is to ask around and find a decent starter culture from someone local(usually super cheap or even free). To get a good idea on how to culture your rotifers, watch Randy Reed's video in the Resources directory. Randy Reed was at Fall Fest last year and gave an awesome talk about how easy they are to culture.
At the top of the page where there is Home, Community, My GIRS, Resources... hover over "Resources" and click on "GIRS Video" This will bring you to the collection of great videos GIRS has compiled over the years. Randy Reed's video is the one you want to watch on culturing rotifers, but I recommend watching them all, they are WONDERFUL!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is a members only feature of the site- another wonderful feature your $20 a year gets you!

I dont think the SPS will take the cylopeeze. They want the organics from fish poop, and the bacteria that eats it.

Thanks for the ideas. I don't think its water changes or the feeding. I do a 10g water change weekly, and I do feed on the heavier side. I feed Mysis, Green Water, Cylopeeze, and target feed the acans and sun coral with a mix of raw seafood. I feed once a day. I will move it to twice a day and see if that makes a difference.
Also I only have a clown and a damsil right now. I will be adding some more in the future, just don't want to add just anything. Looking for Flame Pawn Goby, Catalina Goby, Red Scooter Blenny, and a pair of Snowflake Clowns. So the fish list is kinda pricey and will take me some time to get them all.

Think I discovered what the problem is. Now I need to find what is
causing that. I have a Ammonia issue. just tested it and it read .50.
Not sure what is causing the raise in ammonia but at lease it will give
me a direction to hunt for.

But for now I am going to do a 50% water change and then a few smaller ones to lower that. While I try to figure what is wrong.

No dead fish or anything, so trying to figure out what it is might be
hard, any suggestions. I am going to look at the RO water that I am
using to make sure that its not that. And take the LR out of the middle
chamber and see if I have a detritus build up in there. Not sure what
    else it could be.

Troy - is it possible that the materials used to build your wall might still be outgas'ing? I'm specifically thinking of the foam insulation.

Well when I was doing a 50% wc, I cleaned out the back chambers and found a dead fish body, and there was a lot detritus that was just rotting the water, so I got all that cleaned out. Now I am just waiting a few days before I test again. Probably do another wc this weekend, just to make sure the ammonia is down to 0. I am hoping that it not the wall, cause it turned out quite nice. But if it is, I will just remove it and go with out.
