I just recently purchased a 125 gallon setup that has never seen water.  The sump however is used.  I am trying to figure out what hole is for what pipe / inlet or outlet.  Anyone else have a Nova sump?  This one is rated for 180 gallons.  If pictures are needed let me know and I could upload a few.

I updated your post to embed the images. The side with the hole closest to the bottom is the side that you attach the external pump to. The other side is where you connect the drains from your tank.

    Thanks AJ.

So the holes towards the right side on the front and back are my drain in holes and the left side at the bottom is where I would hook up the return pump? I just wanna make sure I got it right. Also any idea what size holes they are? To me they look like 2.5" or maybe even 3"

Looking to run an ATS. See a good spot to mount one or should I make it external? Thanks again for all of the help.

Measure the hole and that will tell you what size plumbing to use. For example...if the hole is about 1 3/4", then you can use an ABS 1" bulkhead or a 3/4" SCH80 bulkhead.

    Awesome! Thanks yet again AJ.

Now back to the right side, what is the hole at the bottom for?

Trying to figure out what pipe goes where so I can start getting the connections sorted out and plumbed out correctly. Since I'll be moving very little live stock, 40 lbs of sand and 15 lbs of live rock, so I am going to switch to a ATS instead of a skimmer. I'll still keep the AquaClear 110 and the Rapids Pro 1000 running for the first month or two while I get the scrubber running.
