Really there needs to be a side by side study done.

Fuel from Aquavitro, Nualgi, Brightwell, etc.

I usually dose a cocktail of different things

I can't say nualgi has done anything specific to my corals, but prior to dosing it I had hair algae growing on my loc line and powerheads, after dosing it I do not. My glass also only needs to be cleaned about 1x per week now.

I thought I'd update my Nualgi experience here. I dosed Nualgi with 2ml every 5 days in my 75 gallon from about July 2014 until my free samples ran out in late February. I could never tell if it was doing anything because I had been using it before there was any problem apparent. Since that time I ran out I have had green algae/slime explode on my sand and a little on the rocks. My coral polyps also started to extend less and growth slowed. I found another bottle of it that fell behind my storage shelf about 1/4 full and dosed 2ml 5 days ago. The algae on the sand is fading and disappearing, probably by 75% and the bit on the rocks is gone. My lawnmower blenny will be disappointed but he likes nori and algae wafers anyway. The coral polyps are starting to extend more, especially my birdsnest. I dosed another 2ml today. I've changed nothing in my routine other than this addition. So I think I can say it definitely is benefiting my tank. I bought a 100ml bottle today upon my realization. Now those nutrients can go where they were intended, the algae scrubber. Which I will probably have to clean every 4-5 days now.

Im going to give the above post a plus 1. I ran out about a month and a half ago and started to get algae on my overheads again. I also ordered 100MM yesterday.

Oh and for Xroads curiosity. During that period I was dosing Brightwell and it didn't seem to do anything, or at least nothing to reduce the algae issue and make my corals extend as usual. Perhaps I need to start dosing Aquavitro Fuel again as I was when I first started using Nualgi. Though I would say the times of best growth for my coral was back in December and January when I was only using Nualgi. I think I'll stick with just Nualgi for now and see how it goes a couple months.
