Fall Fest [Oct 8, 2016] Fall Fest 2016! (Iowa City, IA)

Open to public, it is still a fest. Admission is yet to be decided but members will get in free as always.

No speakers, keeping it simple this go around!

 

@MadManMadrid or @LiLNicky can you answer this one since you have the line on the tables? I believe we were going to shoot for either 6' tables per member, or 2 members splitting an 8' table (I think the latter but it does depend on the layout of the space and where things are at with the store)

Table cost will be nominal - we don't have costs associated with a venue and speakers.

 

I had to refresh my memory....we are going to do either a 4' table per GIRS Member or 2 to an 8' table. Premium Members get a 6' table. All table are $25 unless I glossed over something!!

Tank max size still applies which is a 30g volume and you have to fit within a 4' length space, or at least really try to (we'll work with ya)...will update the top post over the next coupla days...let's just say the last few months (really, the last year) have been crazy busy, like I never expected....

So I think I got all that right - Zach and Nick can confirm!! I don't mean to step on toes, they are running the show so they are making the call on some of these details

 

It's up to Zach and Nick but the general guideline I threw together was to basically allow Premium Members multiple tanks that added up to less than ~40 gallons, so 2x 10 g tanks, yeah no problem!

 

I sent one mass email but I will send another today. Don't use the group-tagging at the moment, there is a bug in that addon

 

We made a decision a while back to have tables for members (hobbyists) and premium members only this fest. We thought about adding Iowa-based sponsors but decided against it to keep things very simple.
