*OFFICIAL "WHAT DID YOU GET AT MACNA?" THREAD*

Oh i got one or two lil things =)   but heres my favorite for $100

 

I left with over 40 frags...most of which were impulse buys the last hour of frag fast....the 10.00 specials were too hard to pass up and my husband didn't say a single word about it considering all the receipts were being sent to our home email address. Soe of teh venders even threw in extra which was really nice! I was also helping a vendor take down his tanks and he gave me 10 ocellaris just for helping him. The only thing I won at raffle was an ora frag but I got the one that I really wanted from that tank so it was great. I was also walking by two little fishies and the lady there asked me if I wanted everything on the table because she didn't want to ship it back. All this, besides all the stuff that everyone was giving away.....INCREDIBLE!

oh yeah I totally got a viewing portal from Innovative Viewing Systems. Totally AMAZING gadget!!!! I'm having so much fun with this thing~!!!

Here's most of my new corals from MACNA:

 

I ended up taking home the 120 tank. The guy that won it was from North Carolina and he didn't know how he was going to get it out of there or ship it so he sold it. I had not planned on buying a stand, tank, glass cover and hood. That was a surprise to me. I bought a smaller ceramic frag rack that looks like a rock with plugs in it, thought I would give it a try. I also took home a cool clam, a dendro, and yellow and orange ricordia that were half off on Sunday. Plus all the great MACNA freebies!

 

Looks like everyone got some great corals, etc and freebies ;-0) I felt like I was in a candy store all 3 days...Woot! I got a portal, par meter, Hanna CA checker, ring from House of Corals, a couple coral displays from the Alternative Reef and lots of freebies. I got frags from Cherry, Uber's, Jason Fox, A&M Aquatics, Rics & More, Jim's Reef, No Brown Corals, Reef Koi and 3 other vendors. Shrooms, Ric's, palys, zoas, Acans up the gazoo, war coral, fugia, elegance, pagoda cup,cyfastnia, gonis, duncan, dendros and a tricolored nem. There's more but I can't think from MACNA OVERLOAD!!! It was absolutely, TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"M wondering when we host again so I can start on SPS's and more LPS's...teehee ;-0)

In addition to the tons of freebies, 9 frags, and 1 Maxima Clam, we found a hitch-hiker... but a good one.  When we got home we found a Yellow Maxi-mini Anemone hiding on the side of the rock one of our new frags is on!  At MACNA, we asked multiple vendors (including the one that sold us this frag) if they had any Maxi-mini's, but they all said they were either out or didn't bring any.  We're not complaining about this hitch-hiker! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/w00t.gif
