This was my first time to a GIRS event, I must say I was impressed!
here is a list of what I picked up, I'll add some pics once I get the Cannon 5d mkIII out (I still suck at pictures).

Haha yah no kidding bud. I went with over a g to be safe. Good thing i did. It all went buh bye. Saddest part is it still didnt fill my tanks up. Not even close. So fall fest might be even worse. Yikes!!

Looking at some of those shots makes me realize how much my camera skills suck.

Sadly, those are pretty terrible for what that camera should be capable of. I need to learn more about it!
