Old Science Center/Mountain Bike Trails...

    Anyone know where to get on the mountain bike/hiking trails near the old science center off of Grand?  I am going to stop by there tomorrow afternoon and would like to know where I might be able to hook up with the trails.

    Last I knew, you can still park in the area behind the science center and start there.

    Follow the paved road past the swimming pool.  It will end in a parking lot.  The trail starts there.  Shortly after you get on the trail, you come to a fork.  The left fork takes you down to Water works park, Grey's Lake and all the way downtown.  The right fork is a new addition completed late last fall or early this spring.  It winds over to 63rd & Grand and then on up to Walmart and over to the Clive trail.

    Oh - and its a nicely maintained asphalt trail.  Great for biking or walking.

    Kind of looking for the off road trails that are suppose to be in that area.
