I haven't been keeping up the all the new LED light information.  I am wondering what LED fixers is everyone using.  I really don't want to get in to DIY, just don't have the time. So I am looking for a fixture that will get a 29 biocube with SPS enough light. Also things to look for or stay away from.  Still got research to do, but would like to have a place to start.
I have seen a couple post on this, and have looked at them a little, what is your thoughts on this.

Hey Troy so just so you know AI is releasing a nano unit that will light a 29 Biocube no problem.

I seen the nano light. figure for the price might as well go with the full size.

I have been running LEDs for a few months now and I'm extremely happy with the results. I just ordered two of the Evolution fixtures from ReefKoi a couple weeks ago. I'm currently running a fixture very similiar to the Evolution but for my setup I need two to get the coverage I want, so I'm gonna move my existing one to my frag tank and put the two new ones on my display. I almost ordered AIs, but in my opinion the only thing I lost in going with the Evolutions is the ability to dim, and for me that does not justify almost 3x the price : ).

I can tell you this Troy, my frag tank is tied into my main system, so the only different between my frag tank and my display is the lights. I have been running a 4 bulb T5 fixture over the frag tank, and the growth under the LEDs versus the T5s is nowhere near comparable. I have seen great growth under the LEDs, and I saw my electric bill drop about $30 a month roughly. When I switched to the LEDs I also saw a big change in color in my acans, they are much cooler looking now. So far I would say I get all the benefits of MH that I cared about, growth and the shimmer, not to mention the savings in bulbs and my electric bill. The only complaint I have about the Evolution type fixtures would be the level of noise the fans put out, they are kinda loud. When my two new fixtures get here I'm going to see if they are using the same loud fans and if they are I'm changing them out with something else.

I know we talked about this subject at Fall Fest and like I said then you are welcome to come check it out anytime, just give me a call 319-899-1240.
