Good question and I should have added this to my post. I have had this fish for years......last week I added a flower anemone making it 4 flower anemones in my 110. I have an orange one, pink tipped one, green and orange one and this last was beige with a pink mouth and knobby tentacles. For some reason out of the blue, he thought this last addition was tasty. I have sps's, lps's, softies, inverts, a rose bta........never touched anything until now. Have you ever seen a dog take a toy and shake it? Well this is what he was doing and I swear he did a head toss, threw it up in the water and caught it again, took a chunk off and ate it. I have never in my 10 yrs in the hobby seen anything like it. I don't know if he has now acquired a taste for flower anemones but do recommend a fish only tank. But I have never seen it touch anything else........I am an anemone/coral person....I don't get as attached to my fish and seeing him do that really ticked me off. Luckily I didn't have to break down my tank to get him.
