opinions on a hobbiest only frag fest?

    I think I'm ok with it, as long as its not too close to fall fest. That said, I think there needs to be a minimum of 3 months between it and Fall Fest, otherwise it could impact Fall Fest. The organizers of the fests put in alot of hours to make them a success and we wouldn't want to affect that.


    Another thing you should consider is whether the location you are considering has insurance that would cover the event, as that is always something we have to purchase for the organized fests.


    That's my personal opinion (not an opinion of the Board of Directors). The Board of Directors has a scheduled meeting tomorrow evening. I will add this to the agenda and then report back an concerns/thoughts that the BoD has.

    I know that they have organizations like dog clubs, tours of the building from schools ect there but if it'snot an event and just a garage sale or gathering of people would insurance play a factor in it? It will be something that if people want to come to purchase, sell, trade aquacultured corals they can I wouldn't consider it an event although maybe next year we can put it in the planning in between spring and winter fest

    I think it is something to consider next year at the yearly meeting. I think the fall fest or in this case winter fest due to it being in november?? would suffer and I would rather see everyone set up tables there so we have a HUGE fest instead of a small one.

    Thanks for everyone's opinion so this is what I have decided to do.... remember Sponge having a fire sale or anyone for that matter... well I'm am going to setup a group fire sale at a place where anyone is free to come and sell some of their stuff or trade so I'm just inviting anyone that wants to come if you would like to participate in selling or trading ect please pm me or you can call or text make sure you send your name in the text 5154512795 it will be a great gathering of reefers
