For Sale or trade Haddon Carpet Anemone

Discussion in 'Buy/Sell/Trade' started by Boostedbolt, Oct 26, 2015.

  1. Really hate to get rid of this guy but I have to do it. I wont be upgrading tanks for another year so I just don't have the space for him. He is already massive about 10 inches probably its hard to tell with all the crazy shapes this guy makes.

He is a blueish/greenish color. EXTREMLY STICKY! he can pull rocks down and has. He hasn't ate any fish in my tank or anything, he eats well loves krill reacts very fast. I have videos of him eating if requested.

Looking to tell sell him so I can buy some corals at frag fest or possibly trade for the right corals.

    $80 obo

You will have to let us know what fish you have in with it and how they fare.

  7. I have 2 maroon clowns in with it and a midas blenny. The clowns have not paid any attention to it but that might be because they have 3 bubble tip anemones they spend all day and night in. I was hopeing to see them host this big guy but they might be scared of it. He is really big and really sticky. He is very responsive as soon as you drop a piece of krill on him he instantly folds over onto it and pulls it into his mouth. I would say he is a lot quicker then the bubble tip anemones.

He is beautiful, I have thought of having one in my tank but I have been afraid of what it might eat. I bet you are right about the clowns being busy with the bubble tips.

If not fed on a regular schedule. They can and will wipe out a school in no time.

  10. As long as you keep it fed it should be fine, I feed this guy about 3 times week because of his size. He really is a sweet color. I wish I could keep him but I feel like hes gonna outgrow my tank to quickly hes a lot bigger then he was supposed to be lol. He is however a lot more aggressive then the bubble tips. Hes pulled rocked around, big rocks.
