OT anyone know a good repair shop?

Just started a service relationship with QC Auto on State St and Devils Glen in Bettendorf. They just quoted me about $600 cheaper than screwjacks for a timing belt for my wifes Audi. They just did a bunch of service for our kidding wagon and was super impressed. I got referred to thaem from a banker friend of mine that has had his mercedes cared for there. Hope that works. If you are looking for a German speciality shop, there is Pehlman Bros in Clinton that does great work. Hope that helps.

 

They told me about 750-800. unless the idler pulleys needed replaced, then it would be 250 more. passat should have the same motor (2.8) that my audi has. acess to the passat might be easier though since they have to pull the entire front skirt off mine. I spoke with Dan (QCAuto) which he said he loved the VW and audis.
