I was searching par meters.  Just wondering if anyone have looked them up, and what did you find.   I have been looking at a few online, but don't really know which are the good ones and which I should stay away from.     Any info would be great.
    Thanks

I think the Apogee MQ-200 is the main one that I have heard about. With the PC cable for data logging, you're looking at $400. I wish someone in CR had one that I could occasionally rent.

Maybe that is something that the club should think about buying so we all could use it.

Well if board members held it and then let members use it when needed with the stipulation that they bring it back at a set time say 1 week it would probably work out fine. I think that there wouldn't realy be that many of us useing it anyway just the hard core reefers and I think everyone would be careful with it. Baybe we should have a vote on this ( for club members only ) and see what the club as a whole thinks about the idea.

Sorry for hi jacking the thread. I think the club having one of these is completly retarded. People will not bring it back by a set date. And what happens if it breaks while someone is using it. At the store we rent out uv sterilizers with a $100 deposit and a $25 rental fee. I dont remember anyone returning any of them by the date specified. Sorry for hi jacking this thread.

I have the MQ200. It is a pretty good unit.

Right now I have it sent in for recalibration.

I will let club members use it when they want. You pay postage both ways with insurance. If you are a new member, or I really know you, it will be sent to the regional trustee to entrust to you.

There are possibilities down the road of getting one for each area. Right now we still dont have the finances for it.
