BRS on their 2 part solution recommends:

    Alk 9.0
    Calcium 420
    Mag 1350

That's what I try to maintain.

What's your salinity, what salt do you use, and do you dose?

I would think that if you tested 580 for calcium that the test was not accurate. Because if it were your tank would look like a snow storm from the calcium pracipitating into the water column.

Ive been dosing a little diluted bit of baked baking soda. Before that my alk was at 6 and my ph was uber low, now the ph is just barely on track and alk is super high.

What i get from the article is that 13 may be high, but its not a problem

Rockin, it looks like everything you listed, cal mag and alk, is running in the high range, mostly your alk. that along with your ph running in the low range. They may not be dangerously off but the combination of everything being out of whack has a good chance of being the issue.

    Just my oppinion.

I would stop dosing anything for a week outside of adding some reefbuilders to my top off water. retest and see where you are at. If things begin to look a little more on track i would then begin to test too see how much of what is being consumed daily and dose accordingly, or use a kalk stirrer

You also said you are using baked baking soda. I know I have said this before and others have great success using it , but things like that could have impurities in them that you are introducing to your tank.
