I noticed some parasites on my blue tang the other day. I tried to get him out of the tank to treat him, or give him an RO bath, but there was no-way he was having that...wedged himself into crevices I didn't even know were there. If I can't get him out of there, is there anything that can be added to the tank that will help him? (yes, there are corals and inverts)

There is a new food available that has medication for this impregnated in it. Dr Tim's reef caviar is what it is called

I ordered some some Seachem focus and metronidazole, which is a food treatment. Did not know about Dr. Tim's treatment. Doesn't sound like you're certain of something that can be added directly to the tank ..I obviously don't want negative side affects.

I read the box of Sentry Parashield. It's an all natural herbal medication that can "supposedly" be put directly in a reef tank. But, I couldn't find any reviews of whether it successfully worked in a reef tank. I found one guy who said he used it and it made his protein skimmer go crazy and overflowed. But he didn't comment if it worked on the fish.

I think I need to build a trap to catch him.

Yeah we sell birth of those at the store. We recently got the dr Tim's in stock in both the caviar and frozen foods and have found it to be working much better then the sea hem stuff we previously used. And sorry it is Dr. Gs

Might not be treatment but a preventative I use is Aqua Crobes..

Guy over in sweeden made it, it's class 1 bacterias so they're all around us, but when introduced they compete with other nasty bacteria that can infect fish and also a couple strains that can be transferable to humans..

Don't believe I've seen any other products like it..
