I’ve shut down a 10 year old, 90 gallon reef tank at my office due to the new owners not wanting it any more. The system is 10 years old but the system has been upgraded over the years so the only things 10 years old are the tank, stand and fish/rock. The tank has been tossed out though as it had major scratches in it and I didn’t figure anybody would want it. The pictures you see of the tank are from yesterday 9/03/14 as I started to take it down. All the rock and fish are in the stock tanks in the basement of our office now with lighting, heat and circulation.

Most everything is at our office in Robins, IA (Some at my home in Marion, IA) but I can only meet you at the office after hours and by appointment. Contact me and I’ll give you the address and arrange meet times. I’m available tonight after 5:30 and Saturday after 1pm and Sunday pretty much all day.

This list below is all the bigger stuff but there are miscealnous things like cleaning supplies, nets, bulkheads, PVC, etc. Most of that will just be in like a free grab box.

**Note: I really need to get rid of the livestock first as I can’t sell some of the pumps, heaters, etc. until all the live stuff is gone. So you can buy it but I may not be able to give it to you right away. However, any fish, rocks, etc. still not gone by mid next week will likely be going to a pet store.

PM me with offers, questions, etc. I will try to keep my eyes on this thread the rest of the day.

    Thanks,

    Andy

I think I've got around 40 pounds of live rock and I believe it's mostly Fiji. I didn't set this system up the previous guy who does my job did and he said he thinks it was mostl Fiji.

Most of the rock is covered in the soft corals you see in the pictures but I honestly can't remember what they are called. I figured $3 a pound for the coral covered rocks would be fair and $2 a pound without.

You may consider giving the fish to the smouse house tank or the tank a Boone high school.

Sorry, had a local guy come pick up all the fish tonight. The only living thing left that's not live rock or corals is the anemone.

My sincerest apologies for this but I did mess up on my EuroReef model, it's not a CS6 but rather a RS-250. his skimmer is much taller and won't fit under any standard tank stand. So I apologize to Borky00 who drove to see it based on the dimensins of a CS6.
