Just thought id share that i got a small peppermint shrimp for $5 at pets playhouse and it ate all my apstasia. But i also think it ate every feather duster in my tank which was over 100. Sound possible?

Ive always had bad experiences with them shrimp. I had mine eat my lps corals. I tore my tank down just to catch them before. Theyre long gone. Could always do a small coral banded shrimp. Even tho mines a real jerk lol.

Peppermint shrimp won't eat corals, crabs, or fish unless they are already dead or sick and dying. There is no way a peppermint shrimp is capable of killing and eating a healthy emerald crab the crab will be more likely to eat the shrimp. They are mostly scavengers but they will eat aptasia and feather dusters basically they won't eat anything that fights back

  6. If he was eating your aptasia, good! The one we had in the big tank we bought for that purpose...2 actually, and neither of them ate any of it, lol.

It could be possible. It seems peppermints do different things for everybody. Mine in my 90 thinks he's a cleaner shrimp and will help my cleaners clean the fish too haha. I've never had mine bother feather dusters though.
