Just wanted to let everyone know that I purchased a "zapper" from PaulB that works at getting rid of these pests without using chemical warfare[IMG]  The zapper works great!  Some of you may not know Paul Baldasono.  He has the oldest (same)reef in the US and is very well respected.  Some of you may know him from Reef Central as PaulB.
He is still making them.  Here's a video of Paul using the zapper:  http://www.reefersparadise.com/smf/...378.0.html  You will need to scroll down to view it and click on the arrow[IMG]
I like it as all I have to do is pick it up, plug it in and zap them...gone in a second or 2.  It works in tight spots too[IMG]

I did some looking into this a while back and I found out that it doesnt actually work by electrocuting the pest. The small short, which is grounded so it wont shock anything else, causes the water molecules to break down and releases hydrogen molecules. The H molecules are actually what kill the pests. And it works faster and way better than kalk or anything else. Sponge, how did you get one? I want to get one too! Haha.

i pmed paul through reef central for a price and he is charging 75.00 plus 13 for shipping and you have to get back with him because i think he makes them when you order them. he's been in the hobby longer than any of us so anyone with question should talk to the man.

Ok everyone. I know Paul. He was an electrician for 40 years and invents things for our hobby. As I said, I have one and it works. He will guarantee it if you have a problem but I doubt it very much...More to come.
