Petco $1 a gal

You have to be a pals member to get the $1/gal sale price. Normal price on the 40 breeders is significantly more than $40.

You do not get that price all the time because you are a pals member. I don't recall if you need to be a pals member or not to get the price but this is a special Petco runs about 3 times a year so it's defitinely not a Pals thing. Your cashier didn't know what they were talking about I'm pretty sure. I've bought plenty and I think my wife must have signed up for a pals account because I just give my home phone and it comes up but it's free to join anyways.

 

I'm just saying that your post implies exactly that - "it wasn't the dollar per gallon sale" but it was, exactly that. The dollar per gallon sale. Otherwise you would have paid $115 regardless of whether you are a pals member or not.

But yes I agree I think you do have to be a pals member but that doesn't really mean anything. If you were to go ring one up and it came up $115 and you said "hey I thought it was $40" they would just sign you up in 1 minute.
