Petco..Jordan Creak

    I was in the area so stopped in to see that they had.  Nice tanks...seemingly healthy fish.  The only thing I would wish for is a specific/tank just for corals.  Hard to treat fish and corals in the same tanks. 
    I have purchased Turbos and other snails several times and I have to say the Turbos have always done well after purchase,,,I've never had a single one die.  They are as reasonable as buying online + shipping and less stress on the snails they have.
    The person that asked me if I needed help (sorry didn't get his name) was more than helpful.  He even told me about the tank raised Mandarin gobys and they were making a list for when they became available.  He had one that he was very successful with, that I found out in having a conversation with him about them.
    Can't say I have anything negative to say about them.  I think Petco heard the numerous complaints from years past and have done a fantastic and much better job of their fish areas...at least at this Petco.

    I'd also agree that this Petco seems to be well run - tanks are clean, fish appear healthy & staff is friendly.
    I recently purchased a fish from them and qt'd it for a month - happy & healthy!
    They often have softies & mushrooms, not much else.  They used to have one bank of tanks @ 1.019 for fish and the other & 1.024 for corals.

    Do you REALLY think they treat the fish? /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif
    FWIW I got a bicolor blenny from them. I also got most of my crabs from them and they have been just fine. I am not sure I would buy corals there though.

    I would have to say the petco on the southside is the worst and shouldn't even have salt water at all

    Petco Jordan Creek does have some decent stuff in there from time to time. All very basic beginer corals. All thier saltwaters are looped together. Second best is petco windsor heights.... its not bad and they have a coral only tank with a cleanup crew and yellow tang and few other random things time to time. Prices are pretty high tho. Small rock of gsp is 49.99.... Get a 2-3 head frogspawn for 49.99. I think buying from them is saving the life of whatever your buying. lol
