   I'm kinda a cheapo reefer and i need a ph probe. i went on ebay and some go for $10-$15...  r these probes on ebay any good?

   Never even read about anyone ever trying one (and I read a lot of forums LOL). Generally speaking, eBay means avoid when talking reef. The only thing I can think of that people frequently buy (and have great success with) on eBay for their saltwater needs is a refractometer. I would be interested to hear what others think though.

   is there any kind of brand assosiated with it, or is it just a generic probe? I would usually be cautious about really cheap stuff found on ebay. It's usally cheap for a reason.
